Making Tiny Treats with a Mini Baking Kit

Updated: Feb 20

I received a teeny tiny baking kit for Christmas. It’s so freaking cute! It came with a tiny cookie sheet, little mixing bowls, the littlest knife you can imagine and itsy bitsy measuring spoons. And of course it came with a miniature recipe book.

I decided to try out the chocolate cake and cupcake recipe first. Here’s how it went!

I have to admit mixing ingredients in this tiny bowl was not exactly easy!

After mixing the ingredients I scooped them into the cake and cupcake mold. Yeah, it's a little messy, but that's ok.

I set the mold on a tiny baking sheet and popped it into my toaster oven. Although I now kind of wish I'd baked it in my normal size oven because what a great picture that would make - tiny cake in a giant oven! Next time!

While the cakes were baking I mixed up some delicious chocolate frosting.

Next thing you know, I've got a completed tiny cake and 3 mini cupcakes! How cute are they?

So teeny-tiny! You could fit 5 of these cupcakes in the palm of your hand. And you can eat them in one bite. Which is only a shame because they were so delicious I wish I had more!
